Our Staff
The Ven. David Johnston
Father David became rector (lead priest) of Trinity in January, 2023. Both Baton Rouge, LA and Charleston, WV are his hometowns. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University and Duke Divinity School. Prior to coming to Trinity, Father David served as an ordained pastor of the United Methodist Church. He is passionate about campus ministry, including our own Vespers Campus Ministry at Marshall. He serves as the Archdeacon for Young Adult and Campus Ministry for the Episcopal Diocese of West Virginia.
He is married to Colleen and has two kids and one stepson. In his free time, he enjoys reading, hiking, and birdwatching.
Jenn Naglee
Jenn is our parish administrator and handles a lot of the vital day-to-day tasks of Trinity. Her responsibilities include administrative tasks, church communications, coordinating worship volunteers, and bookkeeping.
Mark Smith
Mark is our choirmaster and organist. He directs our choir, primarily comprised of Marshall students, from September to early June. He also is an accompanist at Marshall University.
Krys Fulbright
Krys is our communications director. Their responsibilities include running our livestream each Sunday morning, preparing the weekly newsletter, and managing our social media accounts.
Mike Naglee
Mike is our stalwart sexton. His responsibilities include maintenance, custodial work, and figuring out solutions to things that come with worshipping in buildings over 100 years old.
